Banaras Hindu University has launched a Telemedicine facility at the campus' Health Centre.

Banaras Hindu University has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Confederation of Indian Industry, marking a significant step in the University's continuing effort to bring together academic scholarship, India's cultural heritage, and industry partnership for the benefit of its students.

The UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, BHU, is organising a six-day short-term course (August 22–27) on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education. The course will build educators’ practical skills and understanding to use AI effectively, drive innovation in teaching and learning, and contribute to AI-driven transformation within their institutions.

Over 97% of the total seats in the undergraduate programmes in Banaras Hindu University have been filled as the university winds up the regular rounds of UG admissions for academic session 2026–27.
